MEET THE LEFT TEES

Two Canadian kids with big dreams of becoming professional golfers and entrepreneurs

They both have been on the golf course since they were toddlers, but it wasn't until 2016, that golf became their true passion. Since then, they have been working with professional coaches to grow heir game and their knowledge of the sport.

Ryker is 16 years old.  He LIVES for football Sundays and to play golf.  He is obsessed with 80's hair nation heavy metal music and band t-shirts. FUN FACT!!  Ryker can absolutely shred on his electric guitar!!

He is competitive when it comes to sports, but is easy going when it comes to life. He loves to make people laugh.

Ryker's strong points in his game are his approach shots and bunker play. His favourite club to hit is his 8 iron.

Saylar is 12 years old.  She is passionate about golf and also loves to play baseball and basketball.  She is competitive at everything she does, even playing cards!! She is 100% dedicated to what ever she puts her mind to.  Saylar is naturally talented at almost everything she does,  she's even a wizard on the guitar.

If her golf career doesn't work out she wants to be a rock star or a chef.  Saylar's strong points in her game are putting, fairway play and consistency.  Her Favourite club to hit is her hybrid.

Their Vision

The decision to brand themselves is something that has been on their minds for a long time.  In 2015,  when they were 6 and 9 years old, they both created their own personal logos and had t-shirts made for themselves. Fast forward to 2019 and their vision of having their own brand has come to life as LEFT TEES -THE JOURNEY.

Left Tees was formed because they wanted to create a brand that people would recognize on casual apparel and that would appeal to people of all ages.

Along with making a brand for themselves they wanted to come up with a plan to help support their golf journey financially now and in the future.  Left Tees Apparel was created to share with you!

They are constantly brainstorming ideas for new and exciting things to add to their brand.

Their Journey

Being Canadian means their playing season at home is short and their off- course season is long. They work hard all winter with their coach off the course focussing on mental strategies, strength training, fitness, technique and planning for tours and tournaments for the upcoming season. So, there really is no OFF season!

Since the season here in Canada is short,  they do a lot of traveling and competing in just a few short summer months. This year the Left Tees are planning to compete in tournaments in cities across Canada to qualify for international tournaments and events,  which will extend their playing season.

Ryker and Saylar will continue to work hard on themselves and their games in hopes to play for a college golf team one day. Their ultimate goal is to play professional golf on the PGA and LPGA tours.

They have some big plans and some exciting new things coming up in 2021!
